I googled “integrating technology in the classroom,” and, amazingly, found a website called, “Integrating Technology in the Classroom. This website is hosted by Wes Fryer, who is an educator dedicated to 21st Century Learner Principles. The purpose of this website is to help teachers integrate technology into their classrooms in an effort to create comprehensive reform of the educational system toward 21st Century learning.
This website offers articles on the benefits of such technology tools as social bookmarking, podcasting, and mobile digital storytelling. It also offers tools and techniques for such skills as basic computing, data management, and creating websites. The tutorials are written in a simple, clear way for anyone to be able to understand.
The only drawback to the site I noticed is that it is not regularly updated. Wes Fryer has a link to his personal web page, among several other helpful sites, which he does update routinely, if not daily. I have found his insights and information much more helpful and inspiring than this actual website.
If you are looking to have your eyes opened to the bountiful possibilities of technology integration, and even more importantly, to the reasons why we must pursue 21st Century Learning Principles to bring innovation to our schools, you will finds this website helpful.
